mixed feelings in shinjuku

daily towel changesmall roomquestionable location
the staff changed towels every day, which i guess is what you'd expect.
The location is in, shall we say, an interesting area. the red light district isn't exactly my cup of tea, and i definitely felt a bit on edge walking around at night. also, the room was offensively small. I practically had to do yoga to open my suitcase under the bed. it reminded me of living in a shoebox.

Clean and Convenient Stay

helpful staffquiet roomfresh towelsmissing hooks
The hotel staff was helpful and polite . They provided a free upgrade so my friends and I could have rooms close together. Our rooms faced the interior court, quiet at night! I received fresh towels and water bottles daily.
The lack of hooks in the room was inconvenient! I would have liked at least four wall hooks near the door for hanging my purse, coats, and hats.
Rooms
9/10
The room was clean and well appointed with a comfortable, firm bed and nice pillows that provided a good night's sleep. Fresh towels and water were supplied daily, too. I also appreciated the quietness of the room, especially since it faced the interior court.
Service
10/10
The staff was always helpful and polite! I received a room upgrade so my friends and I could be close to each other. The team's eagerness to help and maintain standards was notable.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel offers convenient access to nearby restaurants and subway stations. I found it very easy to move around the area. A coin laundry service with a washer and dryer was available, really useful .
